Registered for event:  4-12s: 10-13s; 10-14s; 7-15s; 11-16s; 8-17/18s.

First match 9:00 a.m.; coaches' meeting 8:30 followed by 1st match warm-ups.  Sites open 8:15.

Brookland is about 10 miles north of Allen Park Community Center; Nettleton is about 1 mile away.  Due to teams potentially cancelling at the last minute, no advance playing schedules will be available.  It's the first tournament of the season; you'll get used to sitting around the gym.

No hired officials are being used.  All teams will have officiating responsibilities throughout day.  Teams must have completed 2007-08 officiating & scorekeeping certification prior to tournament.  Coaches may submit updated rosters at day of event showing each team's certified scorekeepers & officials.  Referee raters & scorekeeper raters will be available--check with Arkansas Jrs. coaches for rating requests.

No Age group waivers allowed.  "Step-In" Serving rule will be allowed in 12s division.  Warm-up format:  2-4-4 (two minutes shared time peppering followed by 4 minutes on court by serving team, 4 minutes by receiving team.) 

Forfeit rule for this event:  Team fails to appear with six rostered players & coach when scheduled:  Warm-up for match begins as scheduled.  If team not present at conclusion of warm-up time, 1st set is forfeited (score 0-25) and ten minutes is timed by R1 at which time 2nd set is defaulted 0-25.  This includes the 1st match of the day.   Teams late for officiating assignments are penalized one point in next set played for each minute late.  Teams failing to stay to complete scheduled officiating assignments are subject to being banned from future Arkansas Jrs. tournaments and the Region office notified for possible additional sanctions to their club, plus we may overturn their cars in the parking lot.

Food & Drink:  Generally speaking, your team buffet tables are not welcome in gym facilities.  Keep your food in the car & hope for good weather.  Some concessions will be available at some sites.  Courtside drinks are generally limited to bottled water...no cups or sticky drinks.

Spectator Seating:  Some bleachers available, and most sites have room for folding chairs.
